Forty, Blue and Monty
"Kirsty has been working for me for 3 years, exercising my 2 thoroughbreds 3 times a week and looking after all of the animals when I am away.
One of my horses cannot be ridden out on his own so a lot of exercise is ride and lead unless the younger horse needs a more active exercise.
Kirsty is very reliable and will go above and beyond my basic requirements when there is an issue and contact me where necessary.
During winter I include stable work in the time and have always been impressed with the standard of the work as well as making use of time while horses are feeding such as pulling manes and tails, cleaning tack off from exercise.
When I go away Kirsty looks after my cat and chickens as well and I can go away knowing that everything will be done including calling the vet if necessary."

Unfortunately at a grand old age of 27 Blue (pictured left) had to be put down. He led a varied life, racing, dressage, SJ, hunter trialling, pleasure riding and hunting and lived out his later years being spoilt and doing what he loved most. Up until Easter he was still galloping across the moor and being a 4yr old, which along with itching was horsey heaven for him. We were all honoured to know him and will miss him very much, he was a wonderful horse and person.
We have since had "Monty" join us, he is 8yrs and is settling in well. Him and Forty are good friends and he seems to be a very laid back boy. We await to see what the future brings for him.
